Exhibition pieces

Exhibition pics finally up. Sorry for the quality of the pics. I will try to get better pictures and re-post the images. In the meantime, enjoy.

The theme is not evident, but the theme I chose for this was Childhood.

6 pieces in all; done in ink on 18x24 watercolor paper. Sizes of the frames are bigger.

"The look of infinite questions.(1of2)"

"Parents of a childhood."

"Wisdom and knowledge passed down."

"When responsibilities arise, we grow"

"The look of infinite questions.(2of2)"

"Serenity of grown acceptance."

I'll try to get better images without the glare of the spot lights and the reflections.

Inspiration of the week,,,

Wesley Burt

Amazing artist. I don't remember how I discovered his work and I forget about him every now and then. But, every time I go see his work on his site...it's complete bliss. Anyways, I hope you enjoy looking at his work as much as I do.

Later.

finally...but...

Finally found all my missing art pieces...but now, I'm missing my camera...this is what happens when more than one person owns the same thing...

Images will be posted as soon as I find or borrow a camera.

Sketch of the day

I was just sketching today...I think most of my posts of drawings will be sketches, unless it's a special occasion. That way I don't stress about it being nice or not.

So, I was sketching this old looking rock star guy...or junkie...then my sister came in the room...and there she is on the right...right beside the old looking junkie. nice.

And here's another random sketch...something's wrong with the arm...gotta study my anatomy again...and learn how to do draw flowers.

I will be posting my inspiring image of the week tomorrow and another sketch.

Later days.

While I look for missing works...

Starting tomorrow June 2nd, 2009, I will be posting one image every week of art that inspires me from various artists and I will be posting one drawing a day that is done by me on the day of.

To be honest, I am doing this because I sometimes, well...often enough, forget to draw at least a little bit everyday to improve my skills. This post will help me and remind me to make art everyday.

This is for my own good.
